Mackay Hospital and Health Service is a contemporary organisation of more than 3,500 staff providing extensive health services at health facilities in regional, community and rural settings, to a population of around 182,000 people. Our health service consists of eight hospitals, two residential aged care facilities and four community health centres.

Support and Operational Services teams make up the inner workings of our hospital and health facilities. From transporting patients to delivering supplies to preparing meals, support and operational roles are integral to ensuring our healthcare facilities run smoothly and efficiently.
