Mackay Hospital and Health Service is a contemporary organisation of more than 3,500 staff providing extensive health services at health facilities in regional, community and rural settings, to a population of around 182,000 people. Our health service consists of eight hospitals, two residential aged care facilities and four community health centres.

Our dedicated dental health professionals deliver high quality general and emergency dental care to eligible patients at our community and school-based clinics and hospitals including Mackay Base and Proserpine hospitals.
