Visitor restrictions have been lifted from Sarina Hospital following successful management of COVID-19 cases at the facility.
The restrictions were part of the safety measures that are in line with Queensland Health COVID-19 guidelines to mitigate the risk to patients.
Following no further cases being detected, Mackay Hospital and Health Service has determined it was appropriate and safe to reopen Sarina Hospital to visitors.
